Probably wont paint the front. This one came blue already and since the color is close, I'll leave it for now. Its a Curt shackle hitch, Deadbolt brand lock, and some Amazon special d-rings and isolator kit.

That's why I installed my Hi Lift jack, recovery gear, etc... I figure my 4 X 2 is going to need them sooner than a four-bee-four. :laughing: I have one o' them thar shackle sliders. I didn't install it cuz I figger'd it'd rattle around n' stuff but now that I have my Vibra-hone tahrz! on my truck, it no matter no mind, see. /jibberish |
The isolator washers were too thick, so I used 2 small black zip ties to help stop rattles.

I could probably use a portion of a smaller, thinner zip tie section to shim the slider to the i.d. of the receiver... or just wrap the slider with some vinyl tape, or... :thumbsup: |
Decided to revisit an old idea and went ahead and ordered 2 tow hooks, 4 bolts, 2 retainer nuts and 2 tow hook boots. I am going to cut the stock RWD valance instead of replace it.
