I have a 5 year old in a tall back booster, but he sits on the passenger side, so not a problem for me. My point was free versus $30.....

No, never have. I thought about it but I just don't like the thought of clear tint on the windshield, maybe I am weird.

I put 55% on my front windshield and I love it. Just a hint of tint and decent heat reduction.

Can't for the life of me figure out why people pay $30 for a pretty cnc'd release......

You answered your own question, it's a pretty CNC product. Some people like professional looking products, others like the DIY look. To each their own. Truck looks good, do you have any cover under your car seat, or does it sit directly on the cloth?

My girls are both in Recaro seats, no pad under either, in our Flex or the F150. No issues with the seats so far.

Yes, a pad designed for car seats. Also I don't mind what a seat release looks like that I can't see....lol

OEM tray style floor mats are in and Ford Racing lowering shackles will be going on in the morning! May even throw on the tonneau. Tuesday I have an appointment for 20% tint on the front 2 windows and 20% tint strip on the windshield.

Good call on the OEM mats. I highly recommend tinting the entire front windshield. I put 55% on mine and love it. If this Windshield ever needs replaced, I'll probably do 35%.

I have always had 20% on the sides, but the Kansas Highway Patrol is cracking down........I have a buddy that is a patrolman, he said they are not going to be so forgiving with tint. I just dont want to chance any on the windshield.

Many states do not allow full tint on the windshields. In Arizona tint is allowed above the AS-1 line. The police, especially DPS, are like moths to light when they see full tint windshields.

Driver / passenger side windows can be no darker than 33%. I've seen many cars clearly with darker. Police for the most part leave them alone as long as they are not attracting attention. No restrictions on the back. I run 5% on my 3 back windows and in the desert sun it helps.

Yes, correct. Kansas is 35% on front sides, 20% rear sides and rear. I am pushing it as it is with the front sides at 20% and with the slope of the windshield, the brow is always below the AS-1 line.
