I figured once HF sent me that coupon, it was time to get one. I had been planning it out for a few weeks now. I wish it would have only take one cargo net, but even fully stretched, it was 6" short on both sides.
So I came up with a homemade bed divider if you will. Cost was a $20 cargo bar from harbor freight, zip ties already on hand and 2 Ford cargo nets I had sitting in my tool box from my old Explorer and Flex. Also got my Deezee mat delivered today, talk about fast shipping!!
Very clever, and a lot less bulky then the big honking plastic one I have.
Learned today after washing my truck that I have the 9.75" 12 bolt rear end housing my 3.55 gears with e-locker. Not sure what that really even means, lol.
Now for more interesting news. I want my truck to look more like a truck, sooooooo, I just bought a Rough Country 2" level kit and my son is bringing me his OEM blocks and u-bolts from his 13. I will get those cleaned up and painted before install. Hope I don't need them, but I have to take out my Ford Performance lowering shackles anyway to install the OEM shackles. Now to decide on tires.....99% set on 275/60/20 Falken Wildpeak AT3.
