I know how you feel; once I catch onto even a cosmetic imperfection, it's hard to un-see it. Sometimes it's hard to ever get over it like the Chevy lean on my Canyon, and sometimes you end up forgetting about it in no time (like the offset rear Dana M220 on the Canyon). IMO the emblem looks good, flaws or no flaws.

I hope things work out well for you and your daughter!

I noticed the flaw right away, but it's one of those flaws that most people won't ever see. I would hold firm @ 85.00...they'll look great on your truck if you get them!

Thanks nubbins and I hear you. I am thinking the emblem is "good enough", since it will see the elements being a grille emblem.

Yep, I didn't see it in his first pics he sent. Then he zoomed in and I was like, dang, glad I didn't pay $100!!!! But for $75-$85, I could live with it.

I will try and the driver side looks better than the passenger (more of a gap between the 2 passenger visors) but overall I am happy with them.

Yeah, probably won't happen. He said $100 firm. I told him not many Lightning blue owners out there looking for custom ovals. He ignored my last message. I am not in a hurry to throw away $100.

Awesome, thanks. After test fitting mine, it looks as if they should be stuck to the rubber, not the paint, is that how you did yours?

Yes, I used the supplied alcohol wipes to clean the rubber seals and applied them there, not the paint. I assume you are in a garage? Here south of Topeka, its 5 degrees right now......
