So here what took place yesterday for the ol' gal. SPD Adapter, Downpipes, and Full exhaust. We now got 3" exhaust from the trubo's to the clean outside air, pretty solid performance setup.

If you guys want I can make a couple sound clips of what this did to the sound just let me know

Today I decided I was going to swag out plugs, gap to 28 thousands and threw them in, took about 30 minutes. Only one that is a pain is front passenger side just because there are hoses on each side of the coil.

Yea, but the exhaust is not too quiet. I don't have any drone which is great, just not entirely sure I am sold on the sound, the performance gain was easily noticeable on the tunes I have and they definitely spool up quicker.

You get quite a bit of turbo sound when ya get on it, and it will pull hard as hell from 40 to 100. Didn't even try to get on it at low speeds because of the wet conditions here knew it was not possible to hold the tires.

It should break in a bit and mellow out just a shade over few miles, but overall just not a sound I am used to coming from a truck, sounds good though. I will get some vids uploaded for you guys.

I know just what you mean. I went into this knowing it would never sound as good as my 5.0 did. I have the Borla SType on mine, and while not sounding like a fullfledged ricer, it does have quite a different sound. I'm getting used to it. But I will say, down in the metroDuhtroit burbs, I don't have the Hemi crowd challenging me as much as I did with the 5.0. In fact, rarely am I challenged with this one.
A few guys are saying you get more turbo sound with just a CAI. Is that true? I sure know you will with those downpipes.

I still hear more noise through my CAI than my downpipes, if I got WOT can hear my CAI just pull for air. It has a very satisfying sound to it, does get more wild with tune I suppose because they are calling for more air, generating more boost PSI, and shifting at higher RPM's. Was riding with a buddy though and he said he could hear a pretty good whistle through the exhaust, more so when letting off than at WOT.

Words don't really do it justice though I will get ya some sound clips for sure

I know with my 5.0, jumping on it, the CAI sounded like the olde days with the secondary's on a four barrel kicking in.
I was hoping to get some turbo sounds going on this thing, my tunes don't really make them heard. Maybe I'll try a CAI on this.

Yes, when you get a chance, post up a video!
Did you make up your mind on tires?

I will make sure to get a video, gonna wait for a half decent day to do it that way I can get you guys one from outside the cab as well.

Yea I did find a tire, 305/50r20's gives a lot more contact patch on the ground, probably will hurt MPG's a bit but I am averaging 19 and that is with me all over the throttle at times so no big worry.

Decided just going to run these through the winter and then swap out once we get some decent weather.
