Sorry for your loss Steve. If you are anything like me (its seems you are), I use my truck projects/cleaning/tinkering as my outlet. My therapy if you will. Hang in there buddy!

Got really tired of the ugly always dirty chrome exhaust tip so I took it off scuffed it up with some 400 grit sand paper then used some adhesion primer before painting it with some duplicolor low gloss black paint. MUCH better now will take a couple pics in the morning

Here are a couple pics of the exhaust tip. Ordered some JBL Club speakers to replace the door speakers should come in next week.

All I did was get some Duplicolor adhesion primer and Duplicolor black low gloss engine paint. Took the tip off (16mm deep well socket) lightly sanded it with 400 grit sandpaper gave it 3 coats of the primer and 4 coats of the black.
