Purchased a blank transponder key on Amazon. Had a local locksmith cut the key. I programed it myself. Now I have an emergency key.

Read more about it here.

The Coyote badges faded. Repainted them but changed the blue from navy to Ford blue.

Nice! Been wondering when you were going to put up this thread so I could see the progression you took in putting on all those mods, haha. It's especially helpful for me as I've got the black RCSB too, I can kinda visualize what the future looks like!

Another thread for me to follow. Can't wait to see what you've planned next.

Well, the next BIG thing is that I finally found some factory Ford SE headlights! Found them on sale that is. I've been wanting to add them since day one. I'm hoping they will look as good as I think they will on the black truck. I hope they are worth the money. They are here and ready to be installed. I'm wanting to wait for a little warmer temps as I don't want to break a plastic tap or anything because of the cold. I lucked out and got them for less than the price of an aftermarket example.

Also, I'm about to install Bilstein 5100 rear shocks. The rear really needs them because of my heavy, 63 pound, tires. I got them on sale for $137.98 on Ebay.

Subscribed,
great truck, awesome exhaust system!

My dad's cousin did almost the exact same thing on his 1990 454ss, cut the factory system right before the '' Y '' and ran true duals with the mufflers side by side,
he terminated both of his on the passenger side, otherwise same setup.

Very tasteful truck, looks beautiful in the jet black.

Thanks for the great comments. The truck has a real good sound. Think Shelby Mustang sound. It's a little loud on cold start-up but has zero drone and relatively mellow at cruising speeds. Really a sophisticated quality sound.

The motor runs much better too. Contrary to what many say. It is a big difference.

We had a nice clear and warm afternoon so we jumped on the new SE headlights. Changing the headlights is really easy once you go through the ordeal the first time. I did them in about one hour. The new lights came with all the bulbs already installed. I did switch out the stock lows and highs with my Philips Xtremes. I got smart for once and marked the garage door where the properly aimed lights showed. So, I can now shine the new lights at the door and adjust them to the same spot. In theory at least. I will do that when the sun goes down as it looks like they are a little high.

Mr. Ford does a real good job packing the lights.

Here are the stock headlights. The January sun is BRIGHT! Sorry for the low quality iPhone pics.

I did the driver's side first.

Whew! About an hour later. Finished. I had some good help! Quigley loves to assist.

I like them! We'll see what Wifey says when she arrives tonight.

Turned the truck around to the shady side. Cleaned up the old lights and packed them in the factory boxes.

Before.............

After...............
