So, I did a thing...New truck day! 2019 Lariat Abyss Grey.
So I did a thing, wife didn't kill me. Traded in my 2016 F-150 XLT Super Crew 3.5L EB with 302A, sport, and FX4 packages. Here is the old truck:
And picked up a brand new 2019 F150 Lariat in Abyss Grey with 502A and Sport package, again with the 3.5L EcoBoost. This is now my 3rd F150 with the Ecoboost, and my 4th F150.
Stay tuned as I customize my new ride.

Nice! A lot of potential there, have fun!!! What's the difference between Lead Foot and Abyss Grey?

Nothing set it stone for it yet. Already swapped on my wheels and tires and gave the stock ones to Ford to put on my old truck. Going to install my bull bar and light bar. Planning on installing some uplifter switches and find a light bar to put above the windshield, assuming I can find a no drill option. (does one even exist?). Going to put my first responders' radio in. put a spray in liner in the box, and then make a custom rack for the box and install a roof top tent.
I know it is all pretty mild, but I don't like messing with mechanical and suspension aftermarket stuff until my warranty is up. One it is, a lift, intake/full exhaust and tune will happen pretty quickly. My goal is to turn this into a bit of an overland excursion type truck.
Lead foot if I remember correctly was a flat grey, and much darker. The Abyss Grey is a lighter grey, but it does have metallic flakes in it. So on an overcast day, it does look like a flat grey, but in the sun, it just pops!

That new color looks great and the wheels are a huge improvement compared to OEM. As for the bull bar, what brand and model is it? It kind of looks (in that picture) like you hit a black dot-matrix printer and it stuck to the grill!
