Well, I got bored so I thought it was about time I put up a build. There's nothing ground breaking here, but everyone likes looking at pictures so it'll be fun to put together some of my progress.

Likes/dislikes welcomed.

Here's where she started:

First mod was to do the exhaust. The main reason I did the 5.0L was because I knew I wanted to do an exhaust. I did magna flow on my previous dodge and wasn't happy. It was between Borla Atak or Solo Mach-X, I decided on the Solo because I liked the dual side exit mainly.

Guys like shiny things too

Here's a picture of the dual exit. I have a video but getting it on here may be another story.

Awesome. How difficult is the exhaust installation process. Is it a basic kind of thing, or need to be a mechanic thing

I did it without a lift and with basic tools. The most challenging part was getting the stock unit out without having the truck lifted, it was like a puzzle. I also didn't have any help which made it a touch harder bc I was being careful not to damage anything.

No, I'm not interesting enough to have a Youtube account. If there is enough interest in the video I'll get it up. Stage3 has some nice videos that are hard to beat as well.

Here's a shot at putting up a video.

Sounds sweet. That's one of the things on my long list of upgrades. I would want a sound that's not really too loud, but will get a good truck guys attention, not the whole neighborhoods

The Solo fits that bill. When you really step on it she opens up nicely. For me I made the right decision.
