I found this 8 year old picture of me with my 05 Toyota and my 03 King Ranch in the background.......
NOTE: At the time this picture was taken, my friend owned the King Ranch. I had just put a 3" lift on the Tacoma and parked it beside his truck for the comparison. I sold the Tacoma to my son and just bought the King Ranch form my buddy last month.

As I was looking for a way to 'cover' the truck, to assist on keeping the water out, I noted the trim around the back window was loose, looks like the lugs which are attached by the screws from the inside, are broken off and the trim is pulled away from the cab.

I wonder if this could be the cause of my water leak. I removed the 3rd brake light and it has no seal on the back, it just screws to the trim. I cleaned out the pine needles and gunk behind the trim before taping it up. What am I missing? I taped the trim's edge with water proof tape and will address it later.

Could this be the cause of my a-pillar handle leaks?

Just a note to remind me of a link. I found Move WIY bumpers, thanks to a thread on there and put together one for me. Might drop the $$$ in the spring to repair/replace my bumper and this one may be it.

June 1st.... I found my roof leak!!! The upper edge of the windshield has 3 areas that leak into the cab and run along the headliner to the a pillars then down to the floor. I know there are other areas I wil be concerned with but this one is the worst.
I removed the headliner and there are 3 areas of discoloration (rusty looking) two in the front on each side of windshield and one near the drivers side b pillar (between both doors). I think it is moon roof leaking faster than that sides drain tube can handle.

I will get the repair kit for moon roof rails and do that while the headliner is out then I will blow out drain tubes with compressed air.

I hope to get the interior moisture free soon.

I also just registered and insured my truck so it can be used.

Tags for the truck came in today, I have not touched it. I did check inside and it was dry. I have not heard from PO about moon roof rail parts kit. I hope he still has it. I am looking forward to having the truck on the road. It rained hard yesterday and the inside stayed dry so I think the windshield temporary repair has stopped water intrusion.
