Finally, after nearly 40 years I'm back in an F150, my first was a 1979 F150 White Flairside with 351 Auto.
Here is the day I picked it up at the dealer. I was originally looking for an XL as basic as you could get, but as we all know it would have to have been specially ordered, cause dealers need options to make money. So this fit the bill as close as I could get without an order.
So here is the website I set up for my progress, this will always be a "Work in Progress" as with most of us!
Whitey Ford is my name!

yeah my family has been living here since the 60s. It’s time for me to get out though. I didn’t grow up here, actually grew up in May’s Landing, only reason I’m there is I have work in philly, looking to change that hopefully soon.

Today's little mod was probably the least expensive one to date, those ugly chrome stripes in the taillights.
I also added some Black RTV Silicone to the outer edge of the housing assembly to give it some more of a Black-out look too.
Thank you to @96grimreaper where I found this mod!
Just taped around all the areas around the white/chrome stripe.
Lightly sanded with 2000 dry and 91% alcohol cleanup.
2 light coats about 2 hours apart of the Testors Spray Enamel #1605 Gloss Custom Red.
Filled the outer edge with RTV Black Silicone.
Reinstalled
