Well, all didn't go as easy as expected, the RBP RX-2 lock didn't fit the intended latching spot due to the catch being in the wrong position from the factory. Looking at the door assembly from the outside perspective the latch should have faced rearward at the 3:00 position, instead it was in the 9:00 position. Also, the key only comes out in the locked position, so the tumbler was upside down as well. After a couple of minutes with the tech line at American Truck we figured it out based on a comment on the products question and answer page stating "When looking at the inside of the fuel door, the lock would catch the bulge to the right of the gas cap(toward the rear of the vehicle).". All said and done it really is a 2-minute install if it was correctly orientated correctly from the start.

Now the Auto Stop Eliminator was easy considering I've had the center panel out at least 6 times previously.
The Gorilla lugnuts took a little time if not very repetitive.
I also installed 2 rocker switches while the weather cooperated temp wise to power the front camera I installed in the front grill emblem, only have the power wire left to run to it, and a switch for the anticipated rear back-up lights I intend to install when time and temps allow.
Now, this next little addition was inspired by @Mike from TN in support of our men and women in blue!

Truck is looking great my friend. That is an awesome location for your rocker switches. Easy to reach but not “in your face”!
Thanks for “flying” the thin blue line. Great touch. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

Thanks, Mike! The weather is my only slow down due to not having a garage.

I know the feeling. Everything I do to my truck is done outside on a gravel parking area. We are at Mother Nature’s mercy.

The truck is really coming together nicely. What front camera did you use and how did you mount it to the emblem?
