Are you trying to open stockers or led tail lights?

Also too, is there anything I should know about splicing led strips to the original taillight harness. ex. load resistors (I cannot find adequate info)

I'm curious on this as well. Anybody have any previou knowledge?

If you don't change the bulbs to led you will be fine. If you change the main bulb to led you will need an led flasher and then it will flash properly. But just adding led strips you will be alright.

@Smcox1 for F150 president. Saving the day one thread at a time.
I am getting with my guy on purchasing the bulb 4057 LEDs with the load resistor. There is a guy on instagram that I would like for y'all to look at. @retrocustomz1. He does some of the nastiest taillight retro fitting in the game. I want to do my tails with the led strips on the side just like this

Yeah that guy on instagram does some great work. The tails he built for his truck are ridiculous. By far the best I've seen.

The ones for his truck are the best he used led switchback tube with both colors red and they look similar to the 15's. That's what I would do.
