Raptor Type Build
First off, I am Brand new on this forum. I got my first F 150 recently, a 2015 3.5L ecoboost. I do not have really any experience with fords except that I helped my buddy put a lift on his 98 ranger. But I have done several Jeep builds for rock crawling ect... Then I came across the 2017 raptor and I instantly fell in love, I have never done a prerunner type of vehicle, but after seeing the Raptor I have to build my own! I am in the process of getting all of the suspension components I need, and getting the wide body panels that are similar to the raptor are pretty easy to find online. I will post pictures soon of what I have and I will post pictures and what not along the way... Hopefully some of you guys will enjoy the build and I hope to learn alot of the f150 from you guys through the process.
My first question: I have spent many many hours searching online and making phone calls to ford dealerships and body shops and anyone I could think of to answer this question, but I have had no one be able to give me any answer.
So Here it is: The 2017 raptor grill housing comes down around to surround the raptor grill and creates that subtle contour. The f150 grill housing is just on the sides of the grill and the the bottom it straight met with the straight bumper. From looking at my f150, I think the raptor grill housing (and grill) will bolt on to the f150 giving me a true raptor front end and not just a similar look alike. Does anyone know if I am correct in my assumption? And If i am correct, Where would I find the raptor grill housing, grill and front end components? All I can find so far are just look-a-like grills that go on the standard f150 grill housing... No true raptor grill housing and grill components.

Welcome to the forum! Post pics when you can, and research/ask questions as someone on here probably knows or as been through what you are wanting to do. it's a pretty good group of peeps on here as well.
