Default ranger024x4's 2011 fx4 build

Well, Im new here and figured since I plan on keeping this truck for a while, I might as well make one of these threads now. I bought my truck April 19 and have currently put close to 1000 miles on it at this point. I bought it with 35k miles..it was/is a CPO truck.

quick specs
2011 f150 fx4 super cab
5.0 3.73's.
No leather, Nav or sony system.. pretty basic fx4

Basically I bought this to replace my OBS f250 powerstroke. I work in the city and it being lifted and whatnot, It just wasn't practical for me. I also had a 2014 Scion TC 6 speed that I no longer drove because of that same reason (I had 4 vehicles at the beginning of this year). I traded in the TC and sold the f250 for this truck.

Here is the truck.. it was pretty much stock other then 20%tint, line-x bed liner and a K&N intake.

Now, for this 'build', Its not going to be crazy. Planning on retro's, level, wheels/tires, and a few other things. We will see what the future holds..

Now, the first 6 weeks have pretty much been drama filled. I originally had an appointment with the dealer 5 days after I bought the truck to have the windshield replaced because it was cracked (it was that way during delivery). They tried only to pass it off by repairing it (I bitched enough to get a factory replacement) but thats a story on its own. Anyways, After driving the truck around on day #3, I noticed a knocking noise. I brought it up when I took the truck back to the dealer. Basically that simple windshield turned into a short block replacement.. which took 6 weeks to complete. At least I got free factory remote start with the deal.

Pics:

truck sitting.. I believe this was 4 weeks in at this point.

new short block assembled, ready to go

Well, I have had the truck back for a week now. During one of my drunken evenings on the internet, I stumbled upon Amazon and bought a few things, one of which was PIP led headlights. I will say they are better than PIP Hids. They dont seem to glare bad and seem to have a pretty even light pattern. I dont get highbeamed either. They are only temporary until my retro's show up.

Truck looks great.

What LED headlights did you try out?

Also, who is doing your retrofit?

Those don't look too bad. I have the jw speaker fog lights and I like those a lot. You'll have to post some night time pictures of those morimotos.
