Very sharp truck!!! I too keep my vehicles a very long time, I'll be retiring my 17 year old Infinti suv when my new truck is delivered within a week, hopefully.

Anyway on the exhaust, I like the way Unbroken did his.

Can’t beat the value of the STX package. I’m jealous of your tailgate step. My only regret....

Im glad my salesman told me about it. I had no clue until we built an XLT and it was out of my range. He looked at what I wanted and told me to look at the STX and my reply was SOLD!!l it’s seriously the best package for someone who wants a truck as a truck, plus a couple of minor nice features. Ford definitely won on that package!

I thought the step step was a gimmick until I tried it. The F150 is almost as tall as my body lifted ranger, and I always hated having to take a running jump
into the ranger.

definitely. Some people think it’s going cheap with the STX but for me personally...those extra features in the higher end packages become useless when the “new” wears off. And that step is SOOO useful. I kick myself in the rear every time I have to climb in the back of mine. I’ll be adding the amp research bumper step soon...

Good exhausts are heard, not seen. Couldn't agree more.

I have to agree there is no way anyone would believe the STX is one of the lower trim level trucks. I think they much better than the chromed out high end trim levels. If I could gotten the STX in a regular cab I would have order one.

STX is my favorite except the column shifter.

I actually like the column shifter. It gives an extra storage pocket. On my C30 I have to use the cupholders as that storage pocket (I use it for very temporary use, usually holding a bag of chips, or getting my bluetooth out of my ear, etc) and when my wife gets in with her water bottle, there's no storage for what I need it for.

Not a problem on the STX with the 4 cupholders, and that extra pocket.

If there was a column shift and no console in the way, fine. But if a console is gonna be in the way, might as well put the shifter there.

To each their own! I love everything about it. My old ranger had console from a sport trac, and column shift.
