Mike, did you dremel off the air dam tabs? I didn't want to do it with my '17 so I just trimmed about half of it and put it back on to cover the unsightly holes, the three plastic amigos, and the LCAs. But it seems that the '18 air dam hangs a bit lower and I won't gain that much clearance by trimming the air dam in the same way......
I searched all over for the truck and finally found the truck that is the subject of the dealer trade...........but also found that on that very lot, it literally has an identical twin - '18 Shadow Black RCSB 301A FX4 w/ Sync3 and TBC - but 2.7EB. And they told me they couldn't find any 2.7EBs within a transportable radius.

IMO I think you're lucky to find one with a 8" Sync 3. I lot of the once I found didn't. IMO that little 4.2" Sync screen make the truck seem really cheap.
A RCSB with a 2.7 really sounds like a neat truck, and pretty damn quick. Are they too far away drive to and see which one you like best?
in regards to the air dam...When I had the bumper off for paint had the lower valance off and cut the lip off with a die grinder / cut off wheel. Smoothed the edge with some 120 grit on a DA. The third picture is the valance where the lip used to be.

Looks pretty good. When I used my dremel it wasn't as neat, but from a distance you could never tell, especially as the air dam got progressively dirtier over time.
The problem is not that they're far away (round about 100km); the problem is the overpriced ferry ride. And both are on the island, about equidistant from the ferry terminal in opposite directions. But it is nice to know that I have another option should this one fall through. Still would be playing phone and email tag though.

Installed Lariat sun-visors with HomeLink today. Many thanks to @tmcolegr in this thread for the great write up.

One x-acto knife, some bonding glue, a roof console with the roof mount, A LOT of patience...... then you could have the only RC with a full console

So could you not use a superduty regular cab headliner like this? The XLT has a tan headliner like yours and is available with the aux switches as well.

The thing I like about the overhead console is the switch for the sliding rear window is there. Something that I would really like in a RC.
Thanks!
