They'd match my trucks exterior perfectly. My seats need TLC though...
Driver side is worn out from the ole butt slide

Thanks guys..For the kind words.

Yeah...I'm worried about dragging my butt in and out too and wearing out the seats...I really want this thing to last, the truck replaced a 18 year old SUV.

It's actually the only reason I put steps on mine. I can get in easy enough without them, but found I was needing to slide over the seat to do it. With the steps, I just step up and sit down in the seat without the need to slide. Figured it would save the seat a bit.

Mike - your build has been amazing. -- the center console is something that I have been thinking about doing - sounds like a nice "while I'm on vac this Christmas" thing to do. Just need to start collecting parts now. Although, I would rather leave the shifter where it is on the column and utilize that space as a storage bin type of thing. Thanks for all of your pics and "how to's"!

Thanks! So far I'm really really enjoying the console. It has so much more usable space than the jump seat, I found the space under the jump seat was not convenient to use and the top was so small compared to what is it is now.

Without moving the shifter the task would be really easy and little wiring. The USB cables are long enough to reach into the console so that's not hard either. You do need the two AC vents bezels and a bezel between the Sync cubby and the center stack, probably about a $100 for all.

I bought a used black donor console was from I think a 2016 truck and I believe there was a minor redesign in 2017 or 18 in front cubby area. On the older trucks the tray part cubby is part of the console, in the newer it's a separate part. Tasca's drawings to not show the correct parts so you need to order with a VIN from a truck equipped with the console.

I bought a new bare console for a 2018 (Camel) and mix and matched parts using both old and new parts. The used one was also a 6 speed and has an extra stop, so I couldn't used the shifter or panel that says PRND21, because the 10 speed says PRNDM.
