I stopped by Tuscany once to try to buy some take off bumpers, they were very nice but said they don't replace the bumpers. All they do is put a fiberglass cover over and PTM it. If you notice in the video both the front and rear bumper they are higher.

Here is what my guess the deal is. Lead Foot is no longer available as a regular production color. Ford will go along with a special body color but things like the bumpers flairs and they might get pre-painted from the vendor. Since they are removing or cover them they don't need to get a special color for those parts. I should have looked closer at the black and see if its metallic black like the 2019 color or a solid black like the 2018.

BTW the mirror caps, cab corners, front trim over the bumper and door handles are also black. Very strange. The funny thing is if you wet sand Lead Foot it, only an expert like Mike B could tell is wasn't primer.

I second that...I went to a couple body shops, they wouldn't touch painting my chrome bumpers.

I followed Mike's procedure for painting chrome and have had zero paint problems with my emblems or bumpers after a hard winter and -20 temps, and lot of touch-free car washes.

Thanks!...It is sort of braggadocio post, I suppose the build forum is all about that.

When I look other trucks like @2016BoostedGreyGoose, @GO ON 3 , @oscarsierra , @Ecob00sted, @UNBROKEN and many others mine seem kind of simple.
