Thanks! In person they didn't look all that good. I only painted the face of the chrome lettering because I didn't want to take them apart. I re-did them in Peel Coat graphite today and they came out pretty nice. I'll try to post a picture later on!

Heads Up Display is on hold for a while. I need to fabricate some sort of mounting device so I can get it to project a level image on the windshield. When it's mounted flat on the dash, the projected image looks crooked and my OCD won't allow that. Cool little unit though. As usual, I'll keep y'all posted on progress!

Update;
Im racking my brain on how to mount this HUD unit. I'm trying to shy away from using the reflectorized screen on the windshield. Now I'm thinking I want to fabricate a mount for the unit that has an adjustable screen attached to it. I can't just let it shine onto the windshield because I'm getting a ghost image due to the laminated glass. This simple "Doo dad" is really testing my MacGuyver-ism!

Okay! Got the mount made and I'm happy with the way the display looks. I just need to figure out how to mount it low and centered over the instrument cluster. I want it low but don't want to obstruct the defroster vent and really don't want to cut/alter my dash mat. Guess I'll have to spend some time wearing my "thinking cap"!

I almost bought a HUD for my '12, can't remember why I didn't. Do you get the ghosting in all lighting conditions? I didn't think that was an issue. Just asking since I really don't know, but could the angle be why you get the ghosting?
