We paid the tab for breakfast for two Dickson County Sheriff's Deputies this morning at the Cracker Barrel. They were getting ready to start their shift. Both were wearing the "Thin Blue Line" Paracord bracelets I made for the Dept. They didn't know I was the one who made them until I took off my sweatshirt and they saw mine.

Thanks Dave! Our local Sheriffs Dept has had a very rough year as you probably know if you have followed my build thread. They ( and ALL law enforcement ) deserve all the respect and support we can offer!

Well! The time has come for NEW tires. Heading to Discount Tire tomorrow morning to order up some new skins! I have been looking at just about every tire there is online and decided "if it works, don't fix it"! I'm going with the same Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza's. Quiet, nice ride, handle great as long as I keep my foot out of it in the turns and the set that is on there now has, hold on to your hats, 81,900 miles on them. Not quite at the wear bars yet!
We get an average of 6-10" of snow here per Winter, not all at once. These tires seem to handle it well. All in all, great rubber for my needs. Also going with new TPMS due to age!

One guy guy was kind of a dick and ordered a whole half-gallon, but the other three were appreciative.
I didn’t mind, I’ve had things purchased for me when I was in the Navy, or because of my Navy license plates... but come on... that was a dick move on anybody’s part.

That's a bunch of miles Mike! Geez. I've never come close to that.

They have a 65,000 tread wear warranty ( I think )! I've never seen that kind of mileage from a set of tire. Super happy with them!

Yeah, I'm super pleased with them. I'm actually shocked that I got so many miles out of them. Not too sure how they would do in a really snowy area but, like I said, for the amount we get, they're fine. I looked at others, mainly performance tires for my "street theme" but 20's are not cheap and I was more concerned with longevity.

Mike that's a whole bunch of miles ...................I was very surprised when you mentioned 80k. Then I went to look them up and noticed the Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza Plus tire has a 80K warranty, say what?
You would probably get 100K miles out of those. I also agree with you, not that it matters but why change brands if you've had success.
