Talking New 2018 F150 project/family hauler....

Owned a few FORD products over the years but have started a family in the last 10-years and moved on to other projects. Now it's time to start a new chapter....

I've got a few things ordered but still reading and learning what I'm going to do next.....

A few old toys that have been long gone...

I like the blue, but then again, am pretty biased about it.

I guess I should start off the thread with the basics. After shopping for a couple months and getting $6,250 in rebates on top of dealer discount, I ended up getting it for under $50k OTD so I was happy.

BAKflip F1 purchased from site sponsor Luke @ Truck Alterations for a smoking deal!

Only took about 15-minutes to install, very simple and straight forward.

Looking good... I ordered an 18, delivery in mid Sept, and I’m bummed I spent the money on the factory hard tonneau.. those Bakflips are awesome looking. I love how flush they are.

Might have to save up and get one in a year or two.

I debated the same.. I ended up skipping the factory spray in liner and the cover. I have been looking at the BakFlip MX4... still not sure what I am going to do about a liner.

What made you choose the F1 vs. the MX4 ? Also when I watched a SEMA video one of the Bakflip guys did, they showed a prop hinge mechanism thing, for when its flipped forward. But all the ones I have see people have are the old style prop rod that goes into the pocket. Is your the new style or the prop rod?

This is the video where they showed the new prop assembly.
