MyFX4Project's Supercrew Build!!
#71
I wouldn't say that it's a super fast truck now even with the 4v. It pulls good and I have no trouble accelerating, but at the same time I feel like a rebuilt 2v would feel the same. It wasn't a ton more headache than a 2v just a few more moving parts and a new wiring harness that plugged right in. Its pretty much a stock engine just built to handle boost.
And no those aren't the headlights I've got. Mine are lightning heads, stripped and painted black. The corners aren't lightning but they came with the certain set in eBay. I liked how they didn't have the reflector in them.

It is. Just put a new trans and t case in it. Axle seals are toast and have been leaking for a while. Interior isn't as clean and together as I'd like. Windshield is cracked. Lock actuators are very weak. Rust on rockers. Paint isn't very good. They might just be small things but I'm sure I'm missing some and they all add up.
Honestly I'm just not happy driving it anymore. Should have put the 4v in the scab since it was already built but now I'm going through all the same rebuilds plus more. Just isn't worth it to me in a truck im not in love with.
No electrical issues. Cruise control, when connected causes the truck to idle high so it's currently disconnected. And the CHT sensor is unplugged because there's nowhere on the harness to plug it in so no coolant temp reading but that's it.

Feels weird to be in something besides a 10th gen but the 5.0 sure is nice and the updated interior is a plus. It's only and xlt but feels like platinum interior from what I'm used to lol
