Heres my truck I have been working on for about 8 months. I work 4/10's so I ONLY work on it weekends...

I acquired it semi-built already and it had a a-arm to I-beam swap already done. The work was terrible and a absolute unsafe hackjob. I have redone everything on the truck from the ground up. YES, it used to be 4wd and now it is not. love it or hate it.


I have a ton of build pictures but I have shown its current state first. I am new to the forum, but feel free to ask questions and I will answer.


...on a side note, the headlamps came on the truck too. I plan on changing them out to stock lightning ones.

everything is custom one off. 1" cnc kingpin beam ends, all cold roll plate, all TIG welded

*note the steering linkage is mock up only. the real links will be 1 1/4" .375wall 4130 with a heat treat.

Amazing work! Very cool. Might be a stupid question, but are you planning on adding a skid plate to the front? I think that'd look great.

The first pics are where the build is at right now. I still need to mount the hydraulic bump stops and the coilovers up front. Along with a few little odd/ends. Plus run the brake line setup.

-A skid plate... YES absolutely. I am looking at different design options as to what style bumper I will fabricate. But a skid plate is a absolute must..

Tomorrow I will be working on tube supports that connect the front core support to the firewall. They will also serve as a place to mount all the stuff that used to be on the stock inner fenders/core support.

There is still some work to do. Instead of just hooking up the battery and the grounds and cranking it over I am going to have it serviced and gone through at a shop just so I dont injure anything. (it has not started for 8 months)

I went to the off-road expo on Sat. so I only had Friday and part of Sunday to work on the truck. Since this is a truck I will drive every day I made a point of not cutting anything, removing, or doing the "i dont think I will need this.."

that being said, its taking a little bit of time to re-mount all the "junk" that was residing on the stock innerfenders/core support.

the way things are set up now, the 37"s will clear at full bump, lock-to-lock. one more day of this stuff and I should be on to mounting the bump stops and starting the shock mounts
