Yup. The chrome came out but its like it only took the color out of it and its like a small film is still on it. Not a big deal

Ive been told that over time the paint till start to chip off because it doesn't hond as well. I thought I would be fine doing that too so I scuffed it up and then painted everything. I ended up going back and redoing them.

Easiest way to strip the chrome off is oven cleaner. The chrome is so thin it will be gone in under an hour (mine was gone in about 15 mins). If you plan on keeping the turn signal bucket chrome then you have to be really careful, tape it off good. You can't hose it down bc it will still bleed through the tape and eat that chrome.

Everything got stripped but a tiny film like piece in some spots. I might just have to sand it down

So you did use oven cleaner? If so then it will probably come off quite easily. Just sand lightly and it will probably flake off.
