No I didn't hook it up myself. Got a friend who's been going audio stuff for 15 years, and I just got into it a year ago. So I let him do all my wiring for now. And so far it works great. No issues at all. However, I'm only running stock door speakers right now. So I'm not using much of its functions. Once I hook up components then I'll have a much better idea of how it works. Lastly, no nav. Got the bare bones stereo on it because I knew I was going to rip it all out eventually anyways.

Once in a while it won't connect on the first go around. But all I have to do is have sync try again and it works fine. That could be as much to do with my phone though, as it is sync.

BAHAHAHA im in your same boat. Best post yet. My truck is 4wd for winter. I have a lifted jeep for mud. Not only would I NEVER build a extended cab truck for any kind of trail use, but I find it quite funny all the big ole mall crawlers quick to attack for somebody wanting something lowered and better handling for the street. Seems to me they are the posers on the road.

Thanks man! Guys at work used to give me a hard time about it every day too. Until I told them how stupid they were. I've got a Jeep as a bush beater as well, so why would I beat the crap out of a 40k truck..? Some people just don't get it!
