03F150's Super late build thread...
Ok, probably should've done this a good while ago... Too lazy. Anyway, I 'm going to post what i've done to the truck so far. Not too much more in the works right now, but you never know what the future holds! With that aside, let us continue.
In December of 2010, I did an even swap for my 2002 Ranger Edge 3.0 for a bone-stock 2003 F-150 XLT Supercab V6. I didn't do any mods for the longest time, but it changed when the 3rd brake light harness shorted out. Thing started to eat new bulbs in 15 minutes. I went with an LED 3rd brake light, and so it began. Early mods began with a chrome set of Lightning style headlights, LED corners, and 8000k PnP HIDS.
Chrome LED tail lights soon followed after, with an exterior and interior LED swap.
Always wanted fog lights, so I was on luck to find out I had the plugs and harness already installed. About $200 later in new parts, it was painted and on the truck. Also took some silver wheel paint to the mirror shells. Looked pretty good indeed.
For some reason, I always loved gauges. They fascinated me, and I would look in several cars to look at different styles. My next, and one of my favorite mods was a new gauge face. Nu Image SS113's with blue satin needles from USSpeedo.
The truck came with the captains chairs with standalone console, but mine had a busted lid. While I had no luck finding one, I did find info about an expedition center console conversion. I spent more than I should have, but I got it done.

Next came one of my most fun and long mods. Ford didn't give me door lights, so I made my own. I bought 2 bolt LEDs and wired them in. Picked up the clear lenses at the dealer for about $11 for the pair. I challenge someone to have brighter door lights!
The LED:
The result:
Thanks to IBD, I figured a way to disable my Headlight flash. This eventually led me to my new project; having the fog lights, running lights, and reverse lights on with unlock. I went in blind, but did accomplish it. Even got it where they will not light when the truck is on.

I had been on the hunt for a new grill. Honeycomb grills were rare and expensive, so I was at a stand still. I was about to leave the yard, but saw an expedition grill assembly. $30 later, and it was mine. Surround was chrome, and the insert faded. Went to Ace and grabbed a $4 can of Satin black paint, and later grabbed a can of silver wheel paint and adhesion promoter. A while later, the insert and surround were painted and on the truck. Took not even $50 to do a world of difference. Dad also put XLT badges on his XL, so I got 09+ badges for free. Good deal!
Nothing new for a while, but I was itching for something new. Lo and behold, a good price on a set of FX-4 wheels with 35" Pro Comps appeared on craigslist. $200 later, they were mine. The Pro comps were sold, as not much tread was left, and in came the new tires. 255/75/17 Capitol Precision Trac II's. Brand new set, fresh from the warehouse; $400. On they went for another huge improvement.
I was aiming for a black/silver mix, so the chrome LED's and lightnings had to go. First up, the tail lights.
The black Harley headlights were on my list next. Christmas time 2013, I was sporting a new set of headlights. I had already ditched PnP HIDs at the time, and had gone with ZXE's. They were used, but I got a decent deal. On recently blew out, so I have a new set on the way.
Final post next...

I had never been a fan of Plastidip, though decided to try a little. Not everyone agrees with this one, but i think it looks pretty good.
A Dee Zee tailgate assist was obtained and installed. Very nice to have it lower slowly... And finally CREE LEDs. Having issues with the red and ambers, but the whites are fine. I only regret not doing it earlier... :p
Comparison of SMD LED (left) and CREE LED (right)
CREE (left) SMD (right)
both CREE
And thats it for now! I'll be doing more as time goes on, but here are a couple of my favorite recent pics. Want to thank everyone here who helped me do all this. I wouldn't have done half the stuff had I not joined.

Been a bit, but I did get a set of CREE LEDs for the corners and tail lights. The lighting is untouchable. I love it! Heres a couple pics of the brightness, and the thread with all the pics:

I finally caved and shelled out $50 for a fender from for the 09+ limited F150's so that I could put it on the tailgate. For those who plan to remove their badges, I highly suggest that you get a can of label remover, and a cheap set of plastic putty knifes. It wasn't even $10 for me. Not a lot, but makes it a whole heck of a lot easier...
Also got the Raptor grill LEDs in. Makes it look real nice at night indeed!
I was going to get the Nu Image SS213 A/C faceplate to match the gauges BUUUUT... It turns out they are discontinued. I'll be acquiring a different SS A/C face fairly soon, and I will be posting pics once it is installed...
