First thing I want to say is that Derek and his father are probably the nicest 2 guys you will ever meet. He is man of his word and I got the engine and a ton of extras today. I'll post pictures for all you tommorow. Big thanks to @idb2328

Man don't worry about it. I lost my dog a couple years back and it tore me up too it's definitely not easy.
So yesterday ended up being pretty interesting, I took my dad's truck with a trailer to pick up the new goodies and about 100 miles from home it died on me. I snapped the serpentine belt somehow and overheated the motor (doesn't help that I had to keep it out of overdrive causes that npi 4.6 is balless even on the slightest Hill). It let go without warning too, it wasn't squealing or anything. Hopefully I didn't relize it to late and cause more damage to the motor. I'm gonna throw a new belt on it today and hopefully that's all it needs. Thankfully we don't really rely on it to much since my dad has a city issued car he takes to work. Luckily my grandparents lived about an hour and a half away from where I broke down so they came to the rescue and let me use there Dodge to tow the trailer the rest of the way. That Cummins definitely was more fun to tow with lol. Maybe I'll rebuild my stock 5.4 to drop in there lol. I'll get pictures of all the stuff sometime today

Welded some v band clamps to my headers and stripped the rotors today. Welding these clamps is tricky. You have to do it in short sections or they will warp and not seal. That and the fact that I'm still learning how to weld (self taught). So don't judge me to hard lol. I am using Flux core so they can only be but so good. I did lay down a couple good beads tho. As long as they seal I'm happy

I probably should get one, this engine would benefit alot from it. I passed up a few goodies deals but I'll probably take the next one. The engine has a 6 lb lower that I'm trying to trade for an 8# or 10# as well
