Yeah, the front diff is really only necessary if you are doing some hardcore wheeling. The rear end is plenty, specially with the gears.

I meant that ill try the rear alone.
i'm sure the gears will add to the front what is needed and the rear with the TT would do the job.

I went on an errand the other day, after finishing I went back to the truck and tried to start it but it cranks and not firing. After multiple attempts, i gave up and called a tow truck. I took it to the shop, and diagnosed it, had many codes showing, but the mechanic said its something electric. So he checked the fuses and we found this

After changing the fuse, diagnosed again and he found another code, can't recall the code but it led to this

So the trucks fuel pump module was going on and off and messed up the firing.
Problem was solved instantly, by getting the part from the dealer at 30$

Wow. Was that the FPDM that was doing that? If so I wonder if the sand ate into the seal on the back causing it to short out.

im not really sure what caused the fuse to blow/melt, but the FPDM was going on and off. the replacement was stable.

I know some people here put some spacers behind it to allow the water and dirt off so it won't prematurely rot. If your on the beach a lot the salt water might do the same thing. Just something to think about. Glad you got it fixed though.

I dont think that'll be necessary, i sold my boat last year and not planning on getting one soon. On occasions we go camp on the beach but nothing hardcore.

I was just thinking about the moisture in the sand on the beach as a possibility. Kind of weird that it failed so quickly.

I never changed the part before, the truck has ~185 Kms on the clock. I think its good it ran all that time.

Your truck is really nice. I think we have the same color. Mine is an 08 Stoned Green. I love my color, not many around and I modded it a little also.
I painted the door handles and bumpers to match, full exhaust from Banks performance, Headers and dual cat back, cold air intake and tuner and lastly the bilstein 5100's.

By the way, the tuner from Banks came with really good canned tunes, but it got stolen and I got an edge which was really not as good.

Love you did to your truck. I personally like the 5.4L
