Did you have to drill out the top of your spindle to fit the rpg upper control arm on with the 5/8 pin

Not really sure... I'd imagine about 11.6 in the front, since the Raptor is 11.2 stock and the 3.0's give an additional .4 from my understanding. I believe the rear should be about 12ish.

I did. But, it's not what is sounds like. The hole is mostly big enough, but is has a taper. The taper gets a little tight at the bottom, so you have to open it up.

Point of clarification: the UCAs are the first limiting factor on travel because they will mechanically bind at full droop. If you have more than 11.2 (which you do) then it's because of the RPG uppers. Just putting on 3.0's won't gain any travel.

Also, the RPG arms add 1.5" of droop travel. Your total front travel is 12.7".

did you not have to go to longer drive shafts when you swapped the control arms?

fabrication is only needed if you're gonna run 3.0's. I'd rate it at about a 3.

Yep, No idea why I say the 3.0's give me more travel... you're absolutely right WarSurfer. Usually, I post after a 12 hour day at work and I'm usually pretty beat... sorry about that.
