Great looking rig! The Anzo headlights are on my list. I think they are one of the best upgrades you can do to these trucks. The Raptor grille looks awesome when painted too.

Thanks! I think its great how you can use factory parts to really customize and upgrade. Yeah man that vinyl steering wheel is the worst!

Just a couple little things -- added sun visors with illuminated mirrors and also the rear seat release kit by Built Right. How about you?

I just changed my sun visors to the base xlt version non illuminated. Also did the Seat release kit which works well but have to say that seat backing is cheap. Finally got the bed sprayed by Line-X which turned out pretty good. How did you wire the sun visors. I did see one other person mention it on an XL but it seemed like he was winging the wiring part.

I made a harness, you just need 2 each of WPT-1412 (OEM pigtail kit), 20g wire, and fabric tape. They only need power and ground so pretty simple. I made the harness outside of the truck then after you pop off the visors you can feed them up through the front edge of the headliner. When you get to the passenger side I took off the A pillar cover and dropped the glove box to get the wiring where I needed it. I used a mirco fuse tap and got power from the fuse box and used the OEM ground point to the right of the fuse box. It really wasn't bad. I suppose you could also add the pins to the harness right there for the BCM if you wanted to.

Nice on the liner and I do like the seat release kit. What's next?

For a stock xl truck it really does look nice!

And yesterday I added the Barricade tailgate assist damper. This was a 10 minute install and completely worth it. The only reason I went with this kit over the DeeZee is because I like the fact that the brackets are powdercoated black. The included wrench is useless but I had no problems with a T50 bit and a 1/2 ratchet.

Just purchased the same Barricade tailgate assist from American Muscle. It seems to function fine, but I only have one concern regarding the black powder coated mounting brackets coming into contact with the aluminum body due to dissimilar metals? Should I be concerned? Thanks for your help!

I don't think there's any need for concern there, the powdercoating is a good barrier. That's actually why I went with the Barricade over the DeeZee.
