Check out my build, I have clips of my Borla XR-1. Its super quiet cruising under 65 mph. Cold start is a little loud, but not obnoxious. I leave for work at 4:15 am and have asked both neighbors if they have heard it and both said no.

Thanks. yeah I'm in love with this body style. I had to remove 3.5 inches on the front bars and I also removed 2" on the rear( I probably didn't need to do the rear, but I had everything apart and didn't want to have to deal with it again so I trimmed them at the same time).
I see I see. I’d really love to sell mine and get a new short box super crew like yours. If I did I would also want to go with probably 6.5 lift and 20x12s with 35s but I’m not fussy on cutting the crash bars. I don’t mind cutting anything off mine but I’d be afraid if there was an accident and someone got hurt / insurance wouldn’t cover it cause of removing a safety feature. If I could pull off 20x12s and 35s by just spreading them I’d be all over it

I've been following your build, do you have any sound clips of the xr-1? Thanks for the info. and love truck, if I didn't find the red, your color was my top choice.

If you went with a 6.5 and spread them, I think you would be fine. I hear you about the crash bars, but I also look at the raptor, as well as the supercab's (neither of which have the front crash bar) and then I say F*ck it

Those are valid points. Something for me to consider anyways!

Thank you sir. I do love that sound. It reminds me alot of the roush sound. Did you remove your resonator?

No, stock resonator was left in place. Just the muffler swap and oddly, the tip I put on quieted it down a little.

been a while but got some progress.
Speedwires are all ran. new power wire and ground run, as well as the bass **** placed in the front cubby.
After talking with Macleod I have decided to try setting the acm to line level out, and hold off on running the fix86(for now)

Got the Amplifier rack ready.

and wanted to thank upstate NY for all the salt they use.... Still have to rinse it off.
