haven't had much free time lately...

But here's some updates.

got the base glued and clamped yesterday.

Still have to round the corners of the face before I can glue up the top. and I'm going to put a brace in the center to give it a little more strength.

I removed my original sub a little while ago so I could get some more measurements, and it's killing me not having a sub.... Need to finish this install!!

Thank you sir! Hopefully it sounds great.

Got a little more done. Added a center brace.

I like to put a coat or two of fiberglass to help strengthen and seal up everything. I also like to run the speaker wire directly to the sub. helps have a tight box with zero leaks.

Top getting glued up.

test fit

I knew going into this box that the seat wouldn't latch up. but with a bungie cord I should be able to fold it up to an acceptable level, or worst case just pull the sub quickly.

in the mean time, I purchased a roush exhaust. Installed it last monday.

and removed it Wed....... I love the sound but it's a little loud with my 2 kids in the car, and I go to work at 4:30am, I'm not sure my neighbors would love the cold starts that early in the am....

Your truck looks so badass man, really makes me want to sell my 14 and get one of the new body style! Did you have to remove the crash bars to fit the wheels and tires?

i also have a flush exhaust and it sure is loud. Good thing I’m young and all my neighbors are family HAHA.

Thanks. yeah I'm in love with this body style. I had to remove 3.5 inches on the front bars and I also removed 2" on the rear( I probably didn't need to do the rear, but I had everything apart and didn't want to have to deal with it again so I trimmed them at the same time).
