how do you like the King setup? How is the ride and handling, compared to stock? I was thinking of upgrading my stock suspension mildly, maybe to a Bilstein set up; I had a done-up Toyota 4runner with Walker Evans 2.5" coilover set up that I hated--way too firm (though it handled great)...interested as to why you chose the King vs Fox

Chose King due to superior customer service and the compression adjusters. I have always been more of a fan of King over Fox anyways. Their customer service is second to none in the industry and the options and what not they offer is superb as well as the quality of the product.
Ride is better than stock on road with the compression adjusters set on soft, crank them to firm and its much more controlled off road.

**First post. Awesome looking truck, btw. Just picked up my truck and am looking at the different coil-over packages. I saw you compared King vs. Fox, but I was thinking about the Icon Stage 1 package and wanted to know what your thoughts were on that (or if you had considered it in the running when you made your decision to go to the King set-up).
Thanks! Looking forward to the wheels picture - I like the powdercoating idea possibly on some Methods for my truck when I get there.

Man, I just have a long history with King on some desert go fast cars that buddies have had. Their customer service has always been impeccable so I went that route. Icon is equally as good with customer service I think. We had a question when installing my UCA's and they answered the phone, got the right guy on the phone and I had an answer in 5 min or less. I also wanted the adjustability of the compression adjusters so that's another thing that lead me to lean towards the kings.
Wheels are being installed now, I'll wash it real quick and post some pics this afternoon.
