My 2011 Grey FX4 Build
#11
Indeed. Truck is back in the shop getting the other side done now. I should get it back in another week/week and a half. At this point most of the body will look brand new.
Still a lot to do on this build. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Finally got the truck back from the shop. Painted the toe hooks red. Matches the emblem in the grille. Thought it was a nice touch.

I'm a sucker for raptor rims. They look good on there.
If you ever get bored with plastidip, the front emblem is a prime candidate for painting. You can take it off easily, drill out the plastic riviets then take it apart and paint each section. I did this and it turned out awesome. Then when you're done you can hot glue it back together and you're good to go. If you need any more ideas look through my thread. I've done a lot of the easy mods already.

However my current mod list is: Touch screen radio (My truck does not have one currently with rear & front view camera comparability). Brush bar, and Rear shocks to help the ride quality. I'd do fronts as well depending on the price. If you have any recommendations on struts/shocks let me know!
I'm running 285 All terrains (and plan on going with 295s or 305s with the next set). With a 2.5 block lift in the front and 3inch block in the rear. And with all that put together comes a "hardy" ride when going over bumps in the road. Heard Fox 2.0s were good. And bilstein 5100.
TLDR: If anyone has any recommendations on which radio, brush bar, and especially struts/shocks. Let me know. It's greatly appreciated!

I may try that at some point actually. I'd love to do a true color match on the emblems.

I always get Pioneer radios. Icons on my current truck are the only coilovers ive had and they ride nice I cant really compare it to before because I was 6 on 35s before zone and now im 8ish on 37s. Rides about the same. On my 06 I bought a cheap ebay brush bar and it served me well. I know two other people with ebay bull bars that are now years old and still look good.
Update with the brush bar. Gives it more of an aggressive look:
