Next will replacing fog lights with LED pods, two on each side thanks to the big fog light housings on the 04-05. Debating between doing one spot and one flood on each side, or doing all 4 as spots. Opinions??

good color! As far as led pods, i opted for 7" led bars in the fog hole slot. But, if I did it again i would probably do two pods in each hole.

Thanks! Great looking truck! I love the headlights, I already had those priced out as well as the top mirrors with painted caps! Then I saw yours and knew I had made the right decision! Lol And yeah I like how the two pods fill up the socket more, and the fact that they are more aim-able is nice too.

First oil change on this truck. They pull the dipstick and it was dry. I never checked it from the previous owner. Then they pull the oil plug and find all sorts of condensation gunk. So they have to drain it and then run a cleaner in the engine. Diff oil was jet black. So changing that too. Fuel filter is so rusted they won't even change it. And it needs a new air filter. Putting Mobil 1 full synthetic in it. Then they tell me that the trans fluid is low, but they threw that in for free after everything else. All 220 dollars later. They also found the exhaust rattle, (loose heat shield) and said if I go get a big hose clamp that they'd put it on for me for free. Pretty cool oil change place in the end.

Also found the truck uses a bit of oil. 1 quart every thirty five hundred miles or so.

If you are going to get cheap ebay light bars there isn't much different between the spot or floods. I have a 20 inch spot flood combo and it's long range ability isn't very good so I don't think it would really matter what combo you went with. Just my 2 cents good luck with the build.

Yeah I've got a cheap 50" bar and its range is just okay. It's a flood/spot combo but mostly flood.
