My 1950 F-1 build...1/25 scale!
Here's a build that's a little different...I built this 1/25 scale 1950 F-1 to resemble a 'barn find' or a project rescued from a farmer's field and placed it on a flatbed trailer complete with chains to hold it down for transport. I detailed it with lots of weathering and real rust.

Very cool! I recently built a model very similar to my truck, and even painted it with paint that matches my paint code. The only issue was that I couldn't find a screw, so I had to get a scab.

Same here, I build models myself mostly race cars.

Nice! how did you do the rust?

Thanks! I used a 2 part craft paint I found at Michael's craft store. It's called "Sophisticated Finishes" made by Triangle Crafts. The paint actually has iron powder or dust in it. After I coat what I want in the thickness I want it, I brush on the activator and wrap the piece(s) up in a plastic grocery bag over night. The iron actually rusts providing a real rusted metal finish to the model.
