Default My '18 SWB RC build.

Just took delivery of an '18 Silver Ingot regular cab short bed a few days ago. It's an XL with Chrome appearance package and the 2.7L Ecoboost. Wheels and tires are on order and should be in this week sometime. I am still trying to source a lowering kit for it, I am wanting to install a 3"/5" kit. Other mods I want to do are Livernois Motorsport tune, exhaust, intake and tint the windows.

Bone stock

New wheels.

I got the new wheel and tire setup installed. I am pretty happy with them, although I want to 3D print some low profile center caps. The caps that come on them stick out about an inch and a half, I will work on that in the near future. The 3/5" lowering kit will be here tomorrow so the plan is to install it on Saturday, I can't wait.

Well to drop was not as successful as I had hoped. The Maxtraxx drop spindles say they will fit 20's with a little trim on the lower ball joint bolt. That was not the case with my rims. I will have to go to 22's at least to be able to use the spindles. For now it is sitting pretty level with the 1" Belltech Strut drop in the front and 4" Belltech flip kit in the rear. Next on the list is tinted windows.

Looking good! Curious how the power of the 2.7 feels in a light single cab.
