It didn't do the trick on the VW, still haven't finished the truck yet either. Question for anyone who reads this though..what do you think of your 5.4. I have the 'TICK' that everyone talks about, I have 53K miles and am just curious if it's worth fixing or if I should just halt on this truck and wait for the new F150's...I just don't want to put more money into this if the engine will be an issue...ya know? Anyone have over 100k miles issue free?

Okay, well anyways on with the progress and stuff. I'm getting ready to do some HID's from theretrofitsource.com and the was curious if anyone has used E3 sparkplugs in these trucks...I hear they are awesome but haven't heard of anyone using them on the 5.4.

Okay I wanna get some new tires before winter and I can't decide. I do a lot of pavement driving, some gravel. Then I need good snow/ice traction too but want something that can handle the occasional mud. Any suggestions?

I loved my trail grapplers. They looked great, weren't too loud on the road, we're great in mud, and pretty decent in snow. Nothing's going to be good one ice

Well this is my morning lol

2 broken mounts, one broken clamp and one loose mount. My passengers side pipe was resting on my axle. Welded it on this time, that sucker isn't going anywhere.

Well haven't really done any changes at all. This week is supposed to be nice so MAYBE I will get something done. I'm kind of torn on what I should do next. I have been looking at a lot of different options, so maybe someone could help me choose what I should do next. My options are: Sound Deaden my doors, install my rear view camera, plasti-dip my rocker panels, order/install HID's, work on getting new bumper with fog light cut outs and figuring out how to wire up OEM fog lights...those are what I'm torn between. In the meantime, I washed it today and took some pictures on a heli-pad.

Picked up some STP Sound deadener this weekend, will hopefully start getting into that this week at some point, time management is not a skill of mine. Also been looking at adding a bumper with fog lights, wiring those up and getting a manual sliding rear window, will post pics and details as things progress.
