My 07 SCREW build
This is what I started with, an 07 XLT SCREW 4x4. It was all stock except for some add on stuff like SS fender trim, a SS grill, rain guards, bug deflector, etc. The first thing I did was put a Flowmaster muffler on it. After having years of experience with Mustangs, I don't expect a difference in power from exhaust, just a better sound, that's why I chose to do just a muffler.

So all the stick on add on accessories came off... And I found a set of American Racing Assault 20's on craigslist. $500 with tires, yes! So the Plasti Dipped 17's also came off. A 2" leveling kit also went on the front. The leveling kit cost $60 on ebay, went on without a problem and has been great since day 1.

Somewhere along the lines I put smoked headlights in, and Sylvania ZXE bulbs in, which I was very disappointed in and wouldn't recommend. I also continued with the plasti dip, doing the mesh grill in the front, which I wasn't happy with either. This truck has taught me a lot about what I think looks good in my head, and what just doesn't turn out that way in real life. Then came the tail lights, bought used from a member on here
You may notice my Plasti Dipped exhaust tip. I was told on here it wouldn't last, but it has. It's been months and still looks good

So then I had my plugs changed, 5 out of 8 broke. Put in a JLT Ram Air intake and an Edge Tuner, both purchased used on here. The Edge's housing was discolored so that was also Plasti Dipped Black. I didn't care for the JLT, so that was sold to a member, and I picked up the S&B cold air kit, which I'm very happy with.
So then I continued with the blacking out, doing the silver two tone, and the bumpers. Replaced the grill with an FX2 grill painted black and a nice new Ford emblem.

So this is how it looks right now. I have some matte black 4X4 decals waiting to go on. I have installed HID headlights, and the HID's for the fog lights are on order. I think cosmetically it is where I want it to be. I have a set of 33" Mud Grapplers in my shed. I move a lot of heavy equipment so I don't think I will be lifting the truck, but I keep debating that with myself. I have converted to the Gryphon, and I'm waiting (forever) for my new tunes.

Hahaha, I love the part about "This truck has taught me a lot about what I think looks good in my head, and what just doesn't turn out that way in real life." I couldn't agree more with that statement. The time, effort, wasted parts, wasted money, that I've exhausted on my truck only to laugh, shake my head and throw away could probably fund a whole different build.
Truck is looking good, whats the plan for the future?

Thank you, I have been down this road time and time again. Luckily I can usually get some money back by selling the things I don't like to someone who does like them.
I am kind of unsure of future plans. I am definitely open to suggestions if anyone would like to provide them.
Cosmetically I'm pretty happy. I'd love some more power.

So after some issues of shuddering and shaking, come to find out the certain parts in the transmission have decided they no longer want to be part of union and would like to secede. So enter a Jasper reman tranny.
