I bought the truck back in august. it was supposed to have a bad motor, and a rebuilt tranny so i bought it as a project for $1200



I pulled the motor out of it, and bought a motor out of a 99 Navigator (DOHC) from a local salvage yard.



Of course I had to paint the valve covers when I replaced gaskets

This was a low budget build since I'm only 16. Yes, I did all the work myself. I only had help with positioning the motor down in the truck when I was lowering it in. I am very pleased with the power of this motor, walks all over 2v's all day
