We also had another car with HUD and I noticed the same thing. I now wear regular glasses ( old age kicking in ) to drive and it hasn't been an issue. I did test it with my Oakleys and you're correct, no image.

I ordered it through Amazon! They are pretty inexpensive, like $40. I didn't want one that uses a cell phone and app. This one just plugs into the OBD port. Didn't really need one, just a cool gadget.

Went to dinner tonite and when we arrived at the place, the sun was out for the first time since I removed the decals. Holy crap! I've got some serious sand, cut & polish to do on that passenger bed side. Feels smooth to the touch but looks rippled in the sunlight. Can't drive it around looking like that so new plan for tomorrow, I guess!

Got it fixed! 1000,1500 & 2000 grit paper followed by cutter and polish. Didn't want to go searching through the barn for my buffer so I did it by hand. A little elbow grease and it looks good. Probably won't be able to use my shoulder for a couple of days though!

Thanks Dewey! I still gotta break out the buffer and hit that whole bed side. Right now I have to take advantage of the nice weather and get some chores done around the land. Worked on my food plot this morning also. It's coming back nicely after the winter.

You're welcome. I've been considering buying a polisher and try to do it myself. I'm just afraid I'll make everything worse. Lol.

Get them coyotes outta there.
