Factors I'd consider are what type of connection point is on the other vehicle and what the other vehcile is. Then of course having a shovel on hand wouldn't hurt.

Thanks, still getting it cleaned up/straightened up as i want it when time and money allows

I thought they were pretty reasonably priced, the Amazon links for them are above each picture in the post.
I just ordered these too, probably not ultimately needed and they might not be here in time for the Christmas tree expedition on Thursday, but best to get if i can.

Yeah I feel that maxx with straightening out as money allows, my truck I bought thinking i would be set for 50k miles and its been nothing but one repair after another. Also of note if you have to do front struts steer clear of Monroe. I learned the hard way lol. I put KYB excel G in and they are amazing.

Thanks for link as well I didnt see it at first. I ordered a pair my problem is I lose them.

Dampers are on the list, i think maybe next year, but other than the upgrade people say they are, the current ~88k mile ones feel ok. I'll be going Bilstein when i upgrade, great price for a quality unit, but i do not fancy that front shock bolt, 420 ft/lbs i think?
Monroes are ****e, yup, for sure, had some 16k mile ones on my Ranger, horrible! KYB are ok, hadn't looked them up on the F150 though, worked well on the Ranger and Wife's TSX.

They arrived early, i think the D rings are getting returned after the soft shackle gets here, but i'll hold onto them just in case i need them on the snow trip on Thursday.

How is the quality of the strap? I'm pleased with their hitch/D rings.

I use the new Ford yellow coolant, cheap and easy, replaces the orange that wasn't perfect. Not sure if the G05 is right for our engine has if it is like the Gold, then that's not really compatible with our engines - by that i mean Gold is not compatible with Orange. Yellow is fully compatible with orange, so you can top it up or drain and fill etc. I drained and filled with yellow, i'll do it again maybe in the new year to try and get more of it switched over to the new desirable additives in yellow, i'd like to help my water pump and other seals as much as possible.

It seems good, standard mass produced quality, we'll see if i need to use it, but i'm happy with what has arrived. Yes, hitch/D-ring seems pretty solid and cleanly made, i'll be keeping that.

It looks pretty good in quality, and thanks I was just wondering because I flushed mine system out with distilled water and replaced everything with the old gold color Zerex, I have known about the yellow, but i switched before it came out and i have had 0 issues. But will be good to know for the future. I think i swithed at the time because i needed it right then and there but my local auto parts store was out so I got the Gold. Plus dexcool scares me a little with stuff falling out of suspension. Thanks for the reply and i think you convinced me to get the straps too, i have been using a very scary chain for pulling stumps out.
