looking at getting this lift and installing myself possibly

is your friend's truck with the RC lift a crew cab magnetic? If so I think I saw it

nice truck. Thanks for sharing

thanks,
Scrappy
I did purchase it from the Maxtrac Store. It was the best price I could find right under $800 shipped.

My brother has a diesel repair business and one of his techs and myself had did the lift. He tells me a was probably a few hours quicker than doing a crossmember lift like the Rough Country or Procomp since we did not have to install a crossmember. Basically you have strut spacers, spindles, and new brake lines up front. The rear is just new blocks, brake line brackets and shocks.

I've already replaced a couples items from the kit.

Strut spacers have been swapped for Eibach Pro-Truck struts set on the top perch.

Rear blocks have been swapped from 4" to 5". Also did Maxtrac shackles, but they were only good for 1/2" of lift.

My buddy over at Hot Wheelz did the RCX 6" kit. If you're on instagram check out hotwheelsjax. He has a few pics of his truck there.

Here you go Aric. I honestly dont know if its good or bad.

Just another shot after the 5" block was installed. I should have done a 5" block from the beginning. Squatted look is not for me.

Just adding to my log. Got some baseline runs in. This thing wont ever be fast, but when you're bored on a Sunday its actually pretty fun.

2500 RPM brake boost launch. I've been meaning to make a trip back to the track to see if the canned SCT tunes make a difference.

I get zero wheelspin.. But not thats not a surprise.
