Default 2006 white/black XLT

Hey everyone. Not only is this my first post on this forum, this is also my first ford; got it in March after selling my 98 XJ after 12 years. It’s a 2006 2wd XLT super crew with a 5.4. As of now it's got 79k and was a one-owner.

When I got it, it was totally stock.

This is all I've done thus far:
-removed step bars, mud flaps, and pin stripes
-2.5" front, 1.5" rear leveling kit
-20" Lariat wheels
-tow mirrors
-front windows tinted and eyebrow added
-Husky rear wheel well liners
-Magnaflow muffler
-Undercover Flex bed cover
-black headlight assemblies
-Aries bullbar w/ 22" led light bar
-smoked tail and fog lights
-led headlights, fog lights, and turn markers
-pioneer head unit
-altered version of the Gott mod
-black front and rear ford emblems
-added a shorter antenna
-changed the spark plugs and coils

After two months, this is how it looks now

At some point (probably not in the near future) i want to add the following:
-Saleen grille
-Programmer with a Gryphon tune
-Lock the cam phasers
-maybe painting the bumpers either white or charcoal

Let me know what you guys think. Any comments and/or suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

What's everyone's opinion on the bullbar? I like the look when I see it on another truck but idk. I'm kinda iffy about sometimes lol

Looks like a clean truck! Nice modifications too. I say keep the bull bar, makes it unique. And with the black bars on the front, I would get the bumpers painted black imo

Default Nice

It looks good. I just got a 2008 F-150 STX and I'm going with a similar build. What size tire are you running now? What kinda tow mirrors are those? So far I have:
2.5 rough country leveling kit
2 inch spacer in the rear [ NOT INSTALLED YET]
Chrome bull bat
6 inch nerf bars
Kenwood 7 inch touch screen doubledin
reverse camera
VIPmotoz Sinister Black headlights

Good looking truck, have you ever had condensation issues with the black head lights? I heard the issue was common...but I love the look!

Default Never

I've never had any problems with the headlights. It took me forever to finally get them because I was unsure of how it would look, then after I did I can't believe I ever doubted it. Also my headlights are just as bright as before. It's actually a clear lens with a matte black assembly behind so it gives the illusion of black out headlights but with no light reduction and 100% legal

Default Update

its been a while since I’ve posted anything. But trust me, I’ve been busy working in my baby lol. Check it out.

Painted my gas cap and put bolts in it

Painted my badges

Put bed liner on my mats

Got a Gryphon programmer with a custom tune

Ok so I’m proud of this one (even though it may be a little redneck lol. I’m a Georgia boy so it’s ok). Made a 4” CAI out of pvc and painted it electric blue. I did a single at first then said screw it and went dual lol, the price difference was negligible. It has made a world of difference in my acceleration on gas mileage (even over the GOTTs mod). There are a lot of CAI haters out there but this, paired with the tuner, has made this truck into an absolute beast.

so that’s about it for now. probably going to add a hood scoop in the near future just to see if I like it or not. Let me know what you think!

Looks good!

I am a big fan of the bull bar on that body style, gives it a nice look.

One of my buddies had one that looks similar (exterior wise)......until he toasted the motor
He is a mechanic so he swapped a used in then sold it.
