That looks like a lot of fun, not sure i'd like the dunes stuff, but the other off-roading options look fun.
Now, you're not originally from the states, i'm betting commonwealth? and if i had to narrow it down further, i'd say, way down under?

The dunes are are definitely different and they start to grow on you a bit as they are scary as hell when your up the top of them but as the level of risk goes up so does the excitement in a way, in saying that I wish I was in the US as I would love to get into the Baja and Mint 400 style events, you have so many amazing race series over there its just insane

Bingo born and raised in in Australia and then moved over to the UAE not to long ago, unfortunately we dont really get a lot of these style of ute's back home as they don't fit on our roads and the price is crazy a gen 2 in similar condition to mine is almost a quarter of million Australian dollars.

Bonnet, ute, tray.
The last one i learned from 4wd247, hence the specific colony

I don't know much about anything around my way unfortunately, and from what i can gather, i'm about up for what's known as overlanding and/or touring, which by all accounts is soft-roading
Liking the lighting setup you've got, i'm assuming there's an upfitter switch bank you're using for the extra lights? Still go to get my extra diode dynamics lights fitted and wired.

Still, one day i might find something i'm capable of going to do, everything needs tapering as i have a family here and i can't setup the truck for full offroad and i'm a billy-no-mates for off-roading in my area

No matter where I travel everyone seem's to watch 4wd247 and to be fair so do I as its an awesome channel!!, Soft-roading hahaha this has to be one of the best things I have ever heard hahaha

All my lights are wired into the factory aux switches which are mounted in front of my rear vision mirror, i'm pretty glad ford build in the 6 switches from factory as they have been super useful and match the rest of the interior although some of those aux switch panels do look really nice, I have a few friends over here who use the Diode Dynamics I think they are called an S3 or something on their jeeps and they are an awesome bang for buck light!

If I was going to do more overlanding style of driving or 4wd like we do back in Australia I wouldn't of bothered to get BD lights as I don't think there would of been any benefit if im being honest, the reason I picked them for my F150 is they are super bright take an absolute beating which I do enjoy punishing my ute at every chance I get and they also have a great warranty so come time that I try to parallel park my ute on its roof in the McDonalds carpark then I have a pretty good chance of getting a warranty claim on them

Well welcome to the site, and if i'm honest, i might have stolen that term; i saw it on an Oregon Subaru and thought it fitting
That channel/ex-magazine(?) seem to have absolutely gone crazy in the past few years (since their name change i think) they're quite the powerhouse, but i can sort of tell with the media they put out that it's now a large commercial affair - still very entertaining to watch, i found them linked here about a year or so ago.

Yeah, the DD stuff have a lot of rally spec'd gear, so the SS3 (for example) is special stage. I'm really impressed by their fog lights i have and their lenses and warranty are solid as well, they seem to be every bit a contender to the BD. I have the option to retrofit that upfitter switchbank, but with only two switches needed on mine, it's not really worth it. I'll have to try and drill some custom holes (hate doing that) in a blanking panel that's out of the way.

Any more mods etc. planned?

Yea I think they have grown past being a small 2 man band wagon anymore but awesome channel I watch it regularly, I also dont like drilling into stuff as well if its not needed I dont mind doing it on track cars but on a road car I rather leave things as close to stock looking as possible its just cleaner

Yea I have ordered some new garret turbos, front mount intercooler kit, turbo intake pipes, new spark plugs and some updated tunes to match from 5 Star I think they should be arriving in the next few weeks so I will be like a kid on Christmas to go and have them fitted hahahaha
