STX grille showed up today, unfortunately with a rather large clip broken off. Any suggestions on the best way to fix it?
(Coincidentally, I also got a flyer for a new STX. lol)

Just noticed a rather glaring error on the back side of that flyer. "California smart", my ***.

Sux getting it like that after you doubt were excited about it. IMO, the best thing would be to contact the seller to make it right. I don't know how you'd repair that.
That's a good looking grille though.

I'm thinking JB Weld. Fix doesn't have to be pretty since it's on the back side.

If you can't return it. I've had good luck
with this epoxy with this epoxy
on that type of plastic, since it won't show. Just make sure the broken part is in the right location. It won't come off without breaking it off in different spot.

The plastic bosses were cracked on the aftermarket LED tail lights, because of the heavy load resistor on the cover. I bought them I didn't find out until long after the return period was expired so used some of this to glue in some studs to hold the cover on. Ended up not using the resistor and doing a Forscan change so it wasn't required.

Thanks. I'd return it if I bought it from a dealer, but it came from a dude on ebay. Got a pretty decent deal but he doesn't have more of them, so fixing it makes more sense.

yep...shipping those things are big $$$. I still have my Chrome XLT because shipping is more then it's worth.

The grill was 325 shipped. I don't know how much of that was shipping, but yeah, it wouldn't benefit anybody to make the seller eat the cost of shipping it back.
One of my wheels showed up damaged and the seller offered to give me a partial refund or find me another wheel. I asked for another one because I didn't think it would be easy to match the finish. He never asked for the damaged one back, presumably because it wasn't worth the shipping cost. Now I have 5. lol

Shipping does suck. I sent a grille down to Mississippi last year, more than the grille sold it to him for. But you couldn't buy that grille, it was a custom piece combination of two grilles, he was happy though.
Good luck with the repair, hope it works.

Badge got here today. Didn't come with the clips to hold it in, though. Back to ebay...
