Kingofpasadena's 2018 RCLB build
 

This'll probably be a slow process, but here we go. 2018 RCLB XLT 4WD. 3.5 Eco, HDPP, Heavy Tow. Magnetic.
It's a working truck, so I plan on making improvements that either enhance or don't ruin it's functionality. Much. Lol
So far, I've installed a Roadmaster Active Suspension and removed the stock rear blocks.
Still sits pretty high, so I've ordered 1 1/2" Ford Performance lowering shackles. Hopefully the Roadmasters clear the bed supports without notching.
I know it sits high because it's a HDPP, but I'm the one who has to load the payload in there. And it's heavy. Dropping the ass a bit is a functional improvement. Plus it looks cool.
Next on the list will probably be Hellwig sway bars and a brake upgrade. I like the slotted and drilled StopTechs, but they don't seem to be available for trucks with the electronic parking brake yet. If I'm wrong, let me know.
I already have a set of '18 SE wheels, but one of them was damaged in transit so I'm waiting for them to find a replacement.
They'll probably get wrapped in 305/50R20s (Nitto420/Toyo Proxes?) This thing spends 99% of its time on pavement, but I'll keep the stockers just in case.
Since I have the wheels, I guess I gotta get an STX or SE grill and colormatch the bumpers. (Paint? Wrap? Powdercoat? I want them to match the body.)
Just ordered DD SL1 led low beam replacements, because they were on sale and the stock headlights are like birthday candles with dirty pie tins behind them.
The custom quilted black PVC Clazzio seat covers I ordered 2 months ago just showed up right in the middle of a scorching heat wave. I'll install them when it's not hot as balls outside. As much as I like the real stuff, the "vegan leather" in my '14 Passat TDI has stood up to over 200K miles and 15,000 Uber/Lyft rides, and it still looks new. I had leather Clazzios in my '13 F150, and they were great.
The rest of the interior could use some sprucing up. Some of the plastics feel pretty ****ty, and I'd like to replace them with stuff from higher trim levels. The carbon fiber package on the Raptor looks pretty dope, and I'd like it if all the grey stuff was black. I'm sure I'll regret that decision the next time it's a hundred eleventeen degrees outside. Damn global warming. Speaking of Raptors, the steering wheel mod with working paddle shifters is on my list, and maybe turbo adapters, an upgraded intercooler, and a tune. I thought making it faster would be at the top of my list, but after driving it, I feel like my money would be better spent making it turn and stop better first. It ain't exactly slow. I thought this was a long list, but after seeing some of the other builds on this site, I realize I'm not even close. Thanks. I'm interested in seeing what you do to yours as well. Looked up the fleet numbers and I was shocked at how light 2WD RCSBs actually are. That's gotta be a riot with the 2.7 and 3.73s!

Thanks. Yes. it goes pretty nicely when hitting the long pedal. Was quite pleased with the 2.7L and the 3.73 gears. Thought I would not like the 10 speed, but I'm finding that to be nice as well.

The 10 speed is awesome. Never thought I'd see the day when Mustangs and Camaros shared a transmission, but it works well on both of those. ZL1 with the 10 speed is a track monster. Some of the guys on here are installing Raptor steering wheels with working paddle shifters, which would be a killer mod for yours.

I'll be watching this one...She's a rare one.

Powerstop makes drilled and slotted rotors for the electric parking brake if you don't mind using them. Not sure what the difference is between powerstop and stoptech to be honest.

Truck looks good. Didn't know you could get a rclb hdpp!

Thanks! I did see that Power Stop was offering that setup. When I looked into them, the consensus seemed to be that they were good, but the Stoptechs were a little better. I'm sure either of them would be an improvement over stock.
