It's funny cause they exempt over 8600 for diesel and my 2001 V10 Excursion for age a few years back.

Nope, have used powder coat, ceramic, and chromed on motorcycle builds... I hate chrome, so usually first thing that leaves my motorcycles. powder coating looks nice and holds up for a while, but eventually with the heat starts looking crappy too. Ceramic so far has held up best but even that eventually submits to the high temps.

Ok....here we go....

On my way to work last night, my truck started surging. I had my cruise set on 75 (70mph zone) and it started surging. I look down and I'm in 4th gear and the RPMs are over 4000. I get to work and check the codes.....holy s@$&!!!!

Random Misfire
Cylinder 1 misfire
Cylinder 2 misfire
Cylinder 3 misfire
Misfire detected on startup
Crankshaft - Camshaft position correlation Bank 1 Sensor A
Turbocharger A underboost condition
Lost communication with transfer case control module
Power steering control module

I could barely get to 60 mph without the engine screaming. I dropped it off to the dealership this morning. I gave them the list of codes I found and told them about it still smoking and my oil pan leaking. It may be time to contact Ford. Hopefully, they can fix it fairly easily and quickly.

How many miles are on it? Are you still under warranty?

I sure hope they can fix you up quickly.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. I have just over 40,000 miles and I don't remember how much warranty I have. I'm hoping it will be covered under whatever work they did when they changed my heads. I haven't heard a word from them since I dropped it off. I didn't have an appointment so I'm fine if they haven't had a chance to get to it yet, but I will be calling them this afternoon to check..
