Once we pick up the truck, we're driving to Atlanta to catch a few braves games and then driving home. One big ole road trip.

My whole family is excited to see it too. I know tonight I will get no sleep.
Yes, I suppose I simplified it a bit lol! I guess I was just impressed by the level of commitment. Sounds like a great road trip to me. Truck, family, baseball, very nice!

I really appreciate that.

This whole experience has been wonderful. Custom Offsets has certainly gone above and beyond to ensure the build side of everything is worry free.

My wife and I made the trip up and stopped in Chicago for a Braves/Cubs game that got cancelled so we just continued on our trip to Wisconsin. The quality time with my wife and the laughs we shared are priceless and made the road trip worth every mile. Now, we're flying back with one of our sons who loves Braves baseball as much as we do and we're really looking forward to the road trip together. What a story we have to tell when this is all over. Plus....what a sweet *** truck I will have. Lol.

I saw a post a while back, maybe a year or so ago, where 2016BoostedGreyGoose bought and installed some Putco window trim pieces. As I was looking at my window trim, I noticed it's a rubbery type material and painting it to match would probably be a nightmare. So, I contacted Boosted and he put me on the path to getting the correct ones. I got them from UPS yesterday and now I'm waiting on the paint to show up so I can add this to my build when we get back.

Something to note: This is "tinted" and not actually black and that's the reason I'm going to paint them.

Also, this model is for non-tow mirrors. The number for the tow mirrors version is 98560.

No kidding! 14+" in a short period of time, not including the slush and rain mixed in! Was lovely!
Still grilled out in it!

Thanks...I hate the rubbery stuff on the window trim. I might look into those.

I thought you dropped off the truck & was visiting the sites in WI while it was being modded .... I didn't realize you had flown back home

We considered doing that, but we felt it would be better to get back home and take care of a few things first. With us coming back home, we were able to plan another road trip to Atlanta with our son. I know all of this sounds nuts. Lol.

Nuts... not at all, but then again what do I know, I've spent $10,000 so my truck could look OEM
